Jeen International has developed a unique hand sanitizer formula that is based on BP-BotaniDew NMF from BotanicalsPlus, as well as Jeen's Jeethix T (INCI: Sodium acrylate/sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer) and Jeechem GL-26 (INCI: Glycereth-26). Dr. Jed Riemer of Jeen International explains the chemistry and attributes of the materials and the formula. For example, he notes that repeated use of a standard hand sanitizer can reduce skin hydration by 20%, but a product formulated with BP-BotaniDew NMF boosts hydration by as much as 40%.
